Each member must register separately for the seminar. For families, the first family member will register and pay the full seminar fee. Subsequent family members should register separately, selecting the discounted "subsequent family member" rate. Please DO NOT register more than one member at a time.

The Venue:
All Hallows School (https://www.ahs.qld.edu.au/) situated in the heart of Brisbane, Queensland. Located at 547 Ann Street, the school enjoys a prime position in the vibrant city center, with easy access to public transport and sweeping views of the Story Bridge. The seminar will be located in Loretto Hall.
By Car: Our onsite car park, located at the top of Dodge Lane, provides the best access to All Hallows’ School venues. Please note that this car park is a shared facility and parking cannot be guaranteed
By Train: The Fortitude Valley train station is located 700m away from the School.
By Ferry: From the Howard Smith Wharves terminal or from the Riverside terminal.
By Bus: Conveniently located outside of All Hallows’ School are bus stops 218 and 219, servicing bus routes from various areas of Brisbane.

Accommodation: SKIA QLD will not be arranging accommodation for this seminar. We strongly recommend that you reserve lodging as early as possible. There is an enormous range of styles and budgets for hotels, motels, apartments and private (eg Air BnB) options in Brisbane. Either within walking distance or accessible by public transport.
Weather: Brisbane winter weather is relatively mild, daytime temperature around 20-22C/24C, it can get as low as 10C at night typically ranging from 13C to 17C.
Things to Do:
In July 2026, Brisbane features major events including the 2026 Ampol State of Origin Game 3 (July 8) at Suncorp Stadium.
Outdoor Activities: Kayak the Brisbane River, abseil the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, or take the Story Bridge Adventure Climb. Brisbane is a walking & cycling city with numerous pathways along the river and throughout the city and surrounds.
Dining: Enjoy waterfront dining at Howard Smith Wharves and explore food stalls at Eat Street Northshore. Fortitude Valley, Brisbane CBD and South Bank – all offer numerous choices from budget friendly to gourmet traveller.
City Botanic Gardens: The City Botanic Gardens in Brisbane’s Central Business District is a large city park full of meandering trails, unique flora, and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. The gardens are just off Alice Street or can be accessed from the Kangaroo Point Green Bridge.
South Bank Parklands: Relax at Streets Beach (heated), visit the, Wheel of Brisbane, and explore the, Queensland Museum.
Culture: Explore QAGOMA (Gallery of Modern Art) and the Museum of Brisbane at City Hall and SparkLab at Queensland Museum Kurilpa.
Fortitude Valley: Australia’s first dedicated entertainment district and continues to celebrate live music. Relaxed brunch cafes mix with cosy Chinatown eateries and upmarket European restaurants. Indie record stores and art galleries add a bohemian vibe, while James Street is a cultural staple with a top-tier fashion precinct.
